Battery communication and management

The 12 V battery has a simple BMS and balancer built in. The BMS monitors and controls the individual battery cells and protects them from damage such as overload and overvoltage. It consists of finely balanced cells with identical performance. The battery must be managed and operated as a single monolithic 12 V block.

For communication with inverters, the battery uses 2 interfaces, RS485 and CAN. Both interfaces are integrated into a single connector located on the top of the battery.

The app offers the following parameter reading and configuration options:

1) Parameter reading: alarm fault information, number of temperature sensors, number of battery strings.
2) Protection parameters: cell overvoltage protection, cell undervoltage protection, total overvoltage protection, total undervoltage protection, differential pressure protection, charge overcurrent protection, discharge overcurrent protection.
3) Basic characteristics: battery type, rated capacity, reference voltage, idle time, SOC setting, balance switching voltage, balance switching pressure differential.
4) Acquisition board settings: number of acquisition boards, acquisition board 1 temperature, acquisition board 2 temperature, acquisition board 3 temperature.
5) Temperature protection: high temperature protection during charging, low temperature protection during charging, high temperature protection during discharging, low temperature protection during discharging, temperature differential protection (?T), power component overheating protection.
6) System settings: charge switch, discharge switch, system restart, factory reset, current reset, password reset.
